fever

I hate when logan is sick. and he has been for 5 days now. He's had a fever that has ranged from 100 to 104.2 for 5 days. We finally took him to the emergency room and of course once we get there he started to act like he felt fine. Of course for the last five days he has done nothing but sit like a lump on the couch and whimper about how crappy he feels. So they didnt run any bloodwork to for sure rule out a bacterial infection but they did a strep test and it came back negative and they said he didnt have any other symptoms to suggest anything but a virus. and that it should just work itself out.

I still feel uneasy about the fact he has had a fever for this many days. They said to follow up with his doctor on monday. So thats what we will do. And if he still has a fever i will demand some sort of bloodwork to rule out other things.

I was supposed to work my 2nd night of 3rd shift training tonight, but because we got back so late and i got so little sleep today because of him being sick, i am not going in. Which is ok b/c they really dont need me, but it would be nice if i were there. plus that is 10 hours of work i am missing out on. at a higher rate of pay b/c it was for the weekend and 3rd shift... bummer.

Well, i am going to bed now. i am hoping when we wake up tomorrow everyone is healthy. ;)
